Forensics Week Day ONE

The first day (and my last year) of forensics week started off with a foundation of the week. Mr. Garside started the class with a discussion of the layout of the week. We had a recap of some of our main ideas from last year. Forensics is evidence obtained by scientific methods such as ballistics, blood tests, DNA tests, and used in court. We had to remember how important the phrase is with "The devil is in the details". Examples of evidence that can be found through death investigation/crime scene, forensic pathology, DNA blood, fingerprints, digital forensics. The main question we ask is "why+how=who".

Digital forensics can be found through the computer, cell phones, vehicles, and banking. This is more prevalent as technology has adapted through time. Something that was knew to me was how botanists can use their knowledge to see what the crime scene originated. They are able to track where the original incident happened. We also talked about gunshots, tattooing, how different types of pressure with the gun.
