Gabby/Brandi

Gabby and Brandi, two third year ems, came to talk more about their field. They talked about the education side of the job and how many people do not know how helpful it can be. The study that they do can be a gateway to more medical practices as they build up. Many interesting directions can be taken like dual citizenships to study abroad being a paramedic. We talked about Arterial versus venous bleeds. Venous bleeds can be helped by gauze and pressure applied. Tourniquets (which we applied) and pressure are essential or arterial bleeds.
