My Biomed Class took a break from our recent projects to preform a skills lab on suturing. We each got all the materials including a silicon skin pad with wounds on it. It was our duty to stitch up the gash using a continuous motion moving away from our body. We had to keep each loop tight and neat to make sure the skin is closed but not too tight. We start on our dominant side with our dominant hand and worked (in my case) to the left (non-dominate side). As a fun challenge, we removed them and did it the opposite way with our non-dominant hand. I actually did not find the left side harder than the right!
