Weekly Blog - 2021-09-06 through 2021-09-10

After creating the prototype for Squirrell, the dog born without developed front legs, we decided on the best team and design to create the final design. I, along with Mohammed, Charlie Anne, and Alex, spent the beginning of the week creating an online design on Tinkercad. We decided on a wheel type model to be assistive and gentle with the dog. The other model that we didn't pick relied on Squirrell having to adapt his ways of walking. Realistically, a dog with such old age will have a hard time adapting to something he has learned around for all his life. After fully finishing our Tinkercad website, we had quite the troubles with calibrating our 3d printer. After consideration on what we can build it with, 3d printing was the best option for precision. We spent two days calibrating and trying to align the boards, but are still trying to figure that out for next week!
